About the Role
As a Commercial Underwriter at RSA, you will play a crucial role in working with selected brokers to optimize profitable growth from key accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to apply a range of underwriting, relationship management, and business development techniques to existing business within our agreed process and defined underwriting guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with your broker panel to identify, discuss, negotiate, and renew existing business opportunities.
- Make effective underwriting decisions to ensure the growth and profitability of our business.
- Handle cases ranging from £2,000 to £250,000 premium, across various business classes, including Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, and Property & Casualty.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require experience within Commercial Insurance, either with an insurance company background or a broking background. However, we will consider applications from candidates who have worked in personal lines insurance or have experience within another line of business or from a similar background such as claims or customer service.
