About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our pharmacies and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the management of our pharmacies and ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensing services.
  • Dispensing prescription medicines accurately and efficiently, maintaining attention to detail and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and offering information on common ailments, symptoms, and products.
  • Working closely with our pharmacy team to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our customers.
  • Supporting the development of our pharmacy services and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A pharmacy technician/accuracy checking technician NVQ (or similar) qualification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician/Accuracy Checking Technician.
  • Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician.
  • Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements.
