About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Lead to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As an Administrative Lead, you will provide high-level administrative support to our Consultant Psychiatrist, Principal Clinical Psychologist, and team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide organizational, administrative, and secretarial support to the team.
  • Act on your own initiative to ensure the effective running of the service, prioritizing your own workload as required.
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with all levels of staff, external organizations, and the public, dealing with confidential information in an appropriate manner.

Requirements

  • NVQ4 or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes/packages - Ms Word / Ms Excel / Ms Outlook.
  • Knowledge of administration and/or office procedures and evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Previous knowledge and experience of working in a busy office and/or customer care environment, undertaking a full range of administrative duties.
  • Experience of receiving and conveying sensitive information.

Desirable

  • Awareness of the Mental Health Act 1983 and SEND Code of Practice.
  • Experience in using RiO and e-rostering systems.
