AWE is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading a team of database administrators and ensuring the smooth operation of our database estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of database administrators to deliver high-quality database services
  • Develop and implement database strategies to improve performance and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database integration with other systems and applications
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
  • Manage and mentor the DBA team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading a team of database administrators
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Experience with design and development of databases
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
