Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity with a distinguished, award-winning Independent Insurance Brokerage seeking to expand their team in the north Leeds area. The role of Commercial Account Handler is now available for a motivated individual.


In this position, you will manage your own client portfolio, addressing new business inquiries, mid-term adjustments, renewals, and coverage questions. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service while utilizing the Acturis system effectively.


Your responsibilities will include brokering to various e-trade and manual markets, with premium values typically ranging from £5,000 to £50,000.


This role is situated within a warm, close-knit, and client-oriented team that takes pride in their achievements and the significant growth they have experienced in recent years.


The ideal candidate will be personable, enthusiastic, and eager to advance their career during this pivotal phase of departmental development.


We offer a competitive salary ranging from £34,000 to £38,000 (negotiable based on experience), along with 25 days of annual leave, a 12% pension scheme (7% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution), life assurance, and the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements with two days working from home.


Continuous training is provided through our state-of-the-art training academy, along with support for professional qualifications.
