The Burley Group (now known as Radius Insurance Solutions) are one of the top 100 Independent Insurance Brokers in the Country and offer a comprehensive client service including claims handling and full market access. This is where you come in, we are looking for a Claims Handler to join our team in Leeds

**Your responsibilities day to day will be**
- Manage an end to end caseload comprising of Motor Fleet, Commercial, Home, EL & PL claims.
- Creating new claims files and claim entries + updating claims payments
- Liaise with and advise customers on claims procedures
- Liaise with clients, Insurers and repairers where necessary to progress claim
- Making written records of all conversations with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts in accordance with the firm’s procedures manual
- Produce and present reports as and when required by clients, Account Executives, insurers or colleagues
- Meet with and support Account Executives at meetings with clients and/or Insurers.

**What do we expect of you?**
- Knowledge of FCA rules and guidelines relating to commercial/private customers
- Knowledge of general insurance and its underlying legal principles
- Minimum of 2 years claims handling experience preferably within an Insurer
- Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of insurance, claims and related issues through formal and informal learning both internal to the firm and externally

- Up to £32,000 DOE

**Hours-** Monday
- Friday 9am-5.15pm
