We are dedicated to providing high-quality care services, and our commitment to excellence extends to all aspects of our operations, including health and safety. We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead our efforts in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on health and safety matters to all departments within the company, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring they are reviewed regularly to reflect changing legislation and business needs.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure all staff receive appropriate health and safety training, enabling them to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the board to implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Stay up-to-date with health and safety legislation and industry developments, providing expert advice and guidance to the company.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the care industry, with a strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
