Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled VAT Manager to join our small tax team at Workingmums. As a VAT Manager, you will play a key role in providing VAT technical expertise on projects and corporate transactions to ensure VAT recovery is optimised.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide VAT technical expertise on projects and corporate transactions to ensure VAT recovery is optimised.
  • Support the Tax Team with Tax Risk and Governance, including annual SAO and HMRC Business Risk Reviews, and dealing with HMRC enquiries.
  • Identify process improvements and use your indirect tax knowledge to add value to the business.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong UK indirect tax knowledge and operating at AM or Manager level. Experience or knowledge of the real estate sector would be advantageous.
