In the role of Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Fitter, your responsibilities will include:
- Executing repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines while ensuring safety and responsibility.
- Performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks.
- Assisting in diagnosing faults effectively.
- Adhering to warranty protocols during repair processes and managing warranty materials upon completion.
- Conducting road tests on vehicles when necessary (if in possession of an HGV licence).
- Reporting all vehicle issues to the workshop supervisor.
- Completing necessary documentation and paperwork.

To excel in this position as a Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician / Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Goods Vehicle Fitter, candidates should possess:
- Proven experience in a similar role is essential.
- Personal tools are required.
- Ideally, a formal qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance or similar.
- A valid UK driving licence is mandatory.
- Class 1 or 2 licence is preferred.
