About the Role:

Morson Talent is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of logistics services across the organization, ensuring safe and compliant operations, and developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for logistics operations.
  • Manage and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of logistics services.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to a degree level in a relevant field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Proven experience in logistics operations management, with a strong understanding of logistics principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of logistics professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
