Editorial Director, Children's Education

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Editorial Director to join our Children's Education team at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of high-quality educational content for children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the editorial team in the development and production of educational content for children, including teacher resources, professional development titles, and children's fiction and non-fiction books.
- Collaborate with authors, illustrators, agents, and third-party vendors to ensure the highest quality content is produced.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with authors, illustrators, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all content meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest educational initiatives and trends to ensure that our content remains relevant and engaging.
- Proven experience in educational publishing, with a strong track record of producing high-quality content.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with authors, illustrators, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the English language and a keen eye for detail.
