The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Psychologist to join our dynamic department. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of teaching and research, shaping the next generation of professionals in the field of psychology.

Responsibilities will include planning, delivering, and assessing modules across our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including our popular MSc in Clinical Applications of Psychology. You will also supervise student projects and undertake your own research, contributing to the research environment of the Department.

The Person

We are looking for an individual with a PhD/doctorate in psychology, with expertise in mental health. You will have a strong track record of delivering exceptional teaching and support to students, and be able to promote integrated professional practice across all aspects of your work.

As a collaborative and innovative thinker, you will be committed to improving your own practice and contributing to the Faculty's reputation in higher education. You will be passionate about promoting socially responsible, well-informed, and actively engaged members of society, and be equipped with the skills to manage and navigate a world that needs employees to be digitally skilled and have highly developed people management skills.
