Electrical Trainer and Assessor Job Description

ZipRecruiter is seeking an experienced Electrical Trainer and Assessor to join our team. As an Electrical Trainer and Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to learners undertaking the Electrotechnical Level 3 Apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training and assessment to learners in a professional and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current legislation and working practices within the trade.
  • Hold and work towards relevant qualifications as required.
  • Negotiate Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) with learners based on individual needs.
  • Motivate learners to ensure success.
Requirements:
  • Relevant industry qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent) plus at least five years 'on the tools' experience.
  • A teaching/assessing qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to undergo a check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as a condition of the job offer.
