Building Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Manager to join our team at Sheen Lane Developments. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential block, providing exceptional customer service to residents, and maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with residents, third-party contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition between tenancies and maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct regular building inspections and site walk-arounds to identify and address any maintenance or repair issues.
- Work closely with our office-based team to ensure the effective management and maintenance of the property, including the coordination of repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain a safe environment for all residents, ensuring 100% compliance with Health and Safety requirements and reporting any incidents or near-misses.
- Oversee fire security, prevention, and safety systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure the building is running and maintained to an excellent standard.
- Manage communal areas, including resident amenities, to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and meet the needs of residents.
- Develop and implement building policies for residents, ensuring they are clear, concise, and effective.
- At least two years' experience in managing a large residential block, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and third-party contractors.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctuality and strong time management skills, with the ability to set and meet timescales and targets.
- Knowledge of landlord responsibilities and residential property compliance requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
