We are seeking a Head of Finance who possesses a strong background in financial management and reporting, and who is eager to apply their expertise to foster the advancement and prosperity of a DeepTech AI enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization, ensuring precision, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the fractional CFO to devise and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth ambitions and expansion plans.
  • Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management, while enhancing processes for optimal efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and deliver actionable insights to senior management, aiding in decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
  • Act as a primary liaison for external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies, fostering strong relationships and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support fundraising initiatives and investor relations by providing necessary financial data and analyses.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects, collaborating with various teams to promote operational excellence and achieve business goals.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business & Finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, ideally within the technology or SaaS sectors.
  • Experience in a start-up environment, preferably as the sole finance professional.
  • Strong grasp of financial principles, regulations, and best practices, with the capability to apply them in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, with a talent for interpreting financial data, recognizing trends, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results and influencing decisions across the organization.
  • Experience with remote teams is advantageous.
  • Ability to excel in a hybrid work environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues across various locations.
  • Highly energetic and personable, with the ability to engage with key stakeholders across different territories.
