At Voyage Care Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead our residential service in Bridgwater, Somerset.
About the Role:We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Service Manager to join our team. As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service, developing and implementing person-centred support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, and ensuring regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high-quality care and support is delivered to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours.
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans, working closely with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Conduct care needs assessments, identifying individual needs and developing tailored support plans.
- Recruit, induct, and supervise a team of colleagues, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to deliver high-quality care.
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met, including CQC registration and Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
- Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviours.
