About the Role

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Business Applications Manager to join its IT Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning and managing platform upgrades, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions to updated versions.

You will work closely with the Test Manager to develop regression test plans and automate them to maximize efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maximizing value from core SaaS/COTS platforms
  • Proactively planning and managing a forward schedule of work, related to upgrades and enhancements
  • Ensuring best practice is embedded and followed, related to implementations and configurations of platforms, with a key focus on security and operational efficiency
  • Liaising with other key stakeholders and teams
  • Engaging with the Change board to ensure properly managed and approved deployments
  • Developing and building relationships with business product owners and stakeholders
  • Liaising with vendor manager on renewals & licensing requirements
  • Managing Role and persona configuration, review and monitor allocations ensuring compliance
  • Working with Infrastructure and Security teams to setup and manage Monitoring tooling across products where possible and appropriate

This role offers hybrid working arrangements, with occasional travel to the central Support Office.
