About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Arbury Road Vets. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls and booking appointments
  • Responding to client queries via phone, in person, and email
  • Registering new clients and completing insurance forms
  • Dispensing medications and taking payments
  • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients and their pets
Requirements
  • Previous receptionist experience is essential, with veterinary experience a plus
  • Resilience and ability to cope with potentially distressing situations
  • Excellent communication and empathy skills
  • Strong customer service skills and experience dealing with the public
  • Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management systems
