Senior EC&I Engineer Role

The Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer will be instrumental in assisting the Principal EC&I Engineer with the execution of diverse design initiatives and overseeing smaller EC&I project components. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team of engineers, this role encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in estimating and formulating project proposals
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables
  • Clarify EC&I specifications at all project levels
  • Engage in design evaluations and client discussions
  • Deliver technical solutions based on client needs
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in engineering
  • Generate project outputs in accordance with established standards and protocols
  • Review designs and provide constructive feedback
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Quality Management System (QMS)

Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent in electrical or control engineering
  • Membership in a recognized Engineering Institution
  • Extensive understanding of EC&I elements within a project context
  • Familiarity with nuclear health and safety standards
  • Experience throughout the design lifecycle
  • Capability to deliver design solutions meeting required standards
  • Expertise in EC&I systems design and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) assessment
