Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer Role

The Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer will be instrumental in assisting the Principal Engineer with a variety of design initiatives and overseeing smaller EC&I project components. This role involves collaboration with a team of professionals, covering the entire project lifecycle from initial concept through to final commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the estimation and formulation of project proposals
  • Oversee project timelines and deliverables
  • Clarify electrical, control, and instrumentation requirements at all levels
  • Engage in design evaluations and client discussions
  • Provide engineering solutions based on client specifications
  • Commit to ongoing professional development in engineering
  • Generate project outputs in accordance with established standards and protocols
  • Review designs and offer constructive feedback
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the Quality Management System

Qualifications:

  • HNC or equivalent in electrical or control engineering
  • Affiliation with a recognized engineering institution
  • Comprehensive understanding of EC&I elements within a project context
  • Familiarity with nuclear health and safety standards
  • Experience throughout the design lifecycle
  • Ability to deliver design solutions meeting required specifications
  • Knowledge of EC&I systems design and electromagnetic compatibility assessment
