Consulting Associate - Climate Risk & Adaptation

ERM's climate risk and opportunity function is the company's global centre of excellence for climate advisory. We support clients to understand climate risks and opportunities, and help them capitalise on a low-energy transition.

Role Description & Key Responsibilities

As a Consulting Associate, you will work within project teams to analyse physical climate data, assess and quantify risk and impact across geographies, and identify responses to climate change adaptation and mitigation.

  • Analyse climate data from multiple sources to assess risk and impact.
  • Help clients understand financial issues related to climate change, including climate reporting and disclosure initiatives.
  • Contribute to ERM's research and development of digital solutions related to climate change.

Person Specification

Required:

  • A qualification in sustainability, climate change, physical geography, or a relevant field.
  • Capability or interest in assessing risk and vulnerability in the context of climate-related impacts.
  • Experience or interest in modelling financial impacts of climate-related issues.
