About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Care Support Assistant at North East Autism Society. Our adult residential homes provide a supportive and inclusive environment for autistic and/or neurodivergent young people and adults, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support adults in our residential homes and out in the community, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with autism and neurodiverse needs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
About You

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences. While prior experience in health and social care is beneficial, it is not essential. Our comprehensive induction, training, and mentoring program will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
