Job Title: Apprentice Community Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Apprentice Community Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our service users, working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to children and young people with disabilities and their families
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Experience of working with children and young people or adults with a disability
  • Understanding of the principles and limits of confidentiality
  • Evidence of awareness of the impact of oppression and discrimination
  • Consideration of the significance of safeguarding
  • Diploma (or NVQ) at Level 2 in a Childcare-related subject or be willing to work towards it
