Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sophisticated user interfaces and complex business logic that are seamlessly integrated with backend systems and hardware.
  • Produce high-quality, clean, and maintainable code, ensuring thorough testing with JUnit.
  • Suggest and implement enhancements to technical strategies and development workflows.
  • Work autonomously to drive significant improvements across the codebase.
  • Design and outline new features, effectively conveying requirements and plans to the team.
  • Lead innovation efforts and implement solutions that fulfill acceptance criteria.
  • Design and deploy applications and essential platform components.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and maintain high standards for code and applications.
  • Identify dependencies early in the planning phase.
  • Evaluate the impacts of code modifications and communicate assessments clearly.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Engage in sprint planning and contribute constructively to team discussions.
  • Provide feedback and raise challenges to the team lead for process enhancements.
  • Promote Agile methodologies within the team.
  • Operate independently within the team framework to accomplish tasks.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with product design and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with Android and iOS developers to gather requirements.
  • Thoroughly integrate business, commercial, and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate the refinement of user stories and work effectively with testers.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure code meets peer review standards and quality benchmarks.
  • Conduct comprehensive unit and system testing to validate functionality.
  • Drive high feature test coverage and monitor quality assurance metrics.
  • Review peer-developed code to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Create and maintain precise documentation of features.
  • Identify opportunities to automate testing for enhanced development efficiency.
  • Ensure code is secure, scalable, maintainable, and testable.

  • Be prepared for potential future on-call support if necessary.

  • Java (6 years of experience)
  • Kotlin (5 years of experience)
  • Android SDK
  • JUnit and Espresso for testing
  • Gradle
