About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CASS Reconciliations Analyst to join our team at FNZ Group. As a key member of our CASS Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our CASS reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation and Control: Undertake CASS reconciliations and controls, providing oversight and governance of CASS matters within the FNZ CASS Office.
  • Business Objectives: Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by assisting senior management in delivering CASS Compliant duties in accordance with the FNZ CASS and key business policies & Process/procedures.
  • CASS Exception Management: Identify and resolve any CASS exceptions or issues, reporting to management as necessary.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Complete and disseminate CASS metrics, MI & reporting.
  • Process Improvement: Undertake duties in line with but also challenge process, procedures and approach to ensure best practice – raising areas for focus as identified.
  • Industry Knowledge: Keep abreast of Industry Practice, developments & best practice.
  • Complex Issue Resolution: Deal with complex issues, resolution & engagement to resolve CASS impacts.
  • Team Support: Provide support to team and CASS office to deliver compliant CASS practices and activities.
  • Change Management: Support and delivery work in line with agreed model, incorporating change as approved and required.
  • MI and Reporting: Support and where applicable deliver MI to cover CASS reconciliations and associated activity undertaken.
  • CASS Office Support: Support CASS Office with any change or project involvement required.
  • Procedure Review: Review and understand applicable CASS reconciliations procedures and practice.
  • Platform and Technology: Understand and work competently with the FNZ platform and supporting technology, including T-Rex and FNZ Glass for delivery of reconciliations.
  • CASS Competence: Remain CASS competent, keeping up to date with required training and academic standards agreed with your manager.
  • CASS Rules and Environment: Understand CASS rules and environment and be able to advise on behalf of the CASS Office, areas applicable to your role.
Requirements
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze, present and report complex regulatory information to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external parties at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills including ability to take data from multiple sources and produce accurate and timely reports.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly organized, confident, decisive and enthusiastic self-starter.
  • Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines: and as part of an effective team as well as autonomously.
  • Issue Escalation: Ability to escalate issues when appropriate.

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of UK investment products and markets.
