Job Title: Senior Manager Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Contract to join our team at South Ayrshire Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing locality and partnership wide functions of the Health and Social Care Service, promoting and integrating Performance Improvement and Business Support activities to support the achievement of the Council's and NHS Ayrshire and Arran's key objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a staff group of 150 headcount, 130 FTE
  • Provide excellent leadership and clear direction to Health and Social Work Services
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet the changing demands of the service
  • Be an ambassador for the Service and the HSCP, sharing and celebrating areas of good practice locally and nationally

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, with experience in Performance Improvement and Business Support. They will be able to work flexibly between home and the office, and will be required to attend meetings and events as necessary.
