Hygiene Team Supervisor

Highbury Recruitment Careers is seeking a skilled Hygiene Team Leader to join our client's team in Norwich. As a key member of the facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the hygiene operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they are aware of their duties and carry out their work in accordance with cleaning procedures and practices, as well as Health & Safety Regulations.
- Provide a comprehensive cleaning service, including vacuuming, washing floors, emptying bins, cleaning toilets, foaming, sanitizing, high-level cleaning, manual cleaning, and scrubbing, to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Organize monthly and weekly cleaning of all areas, including machine strip-downs, to ensure all areas are clean and fresh.
- Attend training courses as required and assist in the training of other hygiene staff as directed.
- Maintain and improve the pre-determined deep clean schedules and daily cleaning schedules.
- Replenish chemicals in washrooms and factories.
- Order chemicals, as required, replenish blue towels, and maintain GMP standards in factories.
- Ensure all issues and concerns are immediately raised with the Operations Manager and aid in solving problems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and practices, as well as Health & Safety Regulations.
