This is a temporary to permanent position with the potential for a permanent role for the right individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they carry out their duties in accordance with the company's cleaning procedures and practices, as well as Health & Safety Regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hygiene cleaning within a food production area and proven experience of supervising or leading a team, particularly related to hygiene procedures. They will also be physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment.

The role involves providing instructions to the team, cleaning across the factory premises, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. The successful candidate will also be responsible for organizing monthly and weekly cleaning of all areas, including machine strip-downs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising a team of hygiene operatives
  • Ensuring compliance with cleaning procedures and Health & Safety Regulations
  • Cleaning across the factory premises
  • Organizing monthly and weekly cleaning of all areas
  • Providing instructions to the team

The successful candidate will be a methodical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be physically fit to carry out the demands of the role.
