This is a temporary to permanent position with the potential for a permanent role for the right individual. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they carry out their work in accordance with the company's cleaning procedures and practices, as well as Health & Safety Regulations.

The Hygiene Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the factory premises, including areas of production. This will involve providing instructions to the team, cleaning equipment and production lines, and ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed.

The ideal candidate will have experience of hygiene cleaning within a food production area and proven experience of supervising or leading a team, particularly related to hygiene procedures. Own transport is essential due to the location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of hygiene operatives to ensure they carry out their work in accordance with company procedures and practices
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the factory premises
  • Clean equipment and production lines to meet required standards
  • Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed
  • Organize monthly and weekly cleaning of all areas, including machine strip-downs

Requirements:

  • Experience of hygiene cleaning within a food production area
  • Proven experience of supervising or leading a team, particularly related to hygiene procedures
  • Own transport is essential due to the location
