Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Bay Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing ad-hoc and reactive maintenance across various machines and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding and repair on bespoke PLC systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Collaborating with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrics (required)
  • Experience with PLC systems—fault finding is essential
  • 18th Edition is a bonus but not essential

Benefits:

  • Overtime opportunities at a time and a half, double time on Sundays and bank holidays
  • Additional training provided
  • 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays and 2 extra days after 2 years
  • Standard pension

Shift Details:

Shift 1:

  • Monday: 6 am - 2:45 pm
  • Tuesday - Thursday: 6:30 am - 2:15 pm
  • Friday: 6 am - 12 pm

Shift 2:

  • Monday - Thursday: 9:30 am - 6 pm
  • Friday: 6 am - 12 pm

Overtime:

Overtime is encouraged and frequently available, especially during breakdowns. You'll earn time and a half on Saturdays (up to 12 pm) and double time after that. Sundays and bank holidays are paid at double time, plus time in lieu for bank holidays.
