Position OverviewWe are currently in search of a Sales and Export Coordinator to efficiently handle customer sales processes and oversee the shipment of equipment while ensuring compliance with export regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including sales personnel and service technicians, through various communication channels.
- Evaluate incoming inquiries, pinpoint discrepancies, and provide timely responses to customer queries with accurate information.
- Draft and verify preliminary quotes in accordance with discount policies and guidance from sales management, ensuring all details such as part numbers and quantities are accurately recorded.
- Disseminate quotes to clients, enabling the relevant sales personnel to follow up as necessary.
- Input customer purchase orders into the ERP system.
- Effectively relay any changes regarding customer orders to dispatch and warehouse teams.
- Prepare necessary shipping documentation, including labels and stamps, as requested by customers.
- Assist customers by providing updates on their existing order requests.
- Compile and comprehend risk assessment data, completing the Master Check List for orders as required.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to the overall success of the sales and service departments.
- Maintain communication with sales managers, service engineers, and other team members to ensure they are updated on project-related information.
- Proven experience working with an ERP system.
- Capability to identify component parts from technical drawings.
- Familiarity with export regulations, particularly in the context of recent changes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Background in mechanical engineering is advantageous.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £39,000, along with performance bonuses and comprehensive private dental and healthcare benefits.
