About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our client, Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization dedicated to empowering brain injury survivors and their families.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, experience in managing substantial budgets, and a deep understanding of the charitable sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership to the organization, driving strategic growth and development.
  • Ensure the organization's charitable purposes are fulfilled, delivering impactful services to those in need.
  • Take overall responsibility for the organization's management and administration, within the governance framework established by the Board of Trustees.
  • Collaborate with the Chair to enable the Trustees to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide timely and effective advice, recommendations, and information to the Board.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience in management and strategic leadership, preferably in the charitable sector.
  • Proven experience in implementing organizational strategic visions.
  • Experience in managing substantial budgets and implementing management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze systems and procedures, implementing effective changes as necessary.
  • Good understanding of company and charity law.
