We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Team One Recruitment. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounts payable and supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing and credit control, to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Perform and manage banking cash records, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Recharge costs, assist with monthly journals, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Conduct monthly sales activity reporting using Microsoft Excel, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Maintain fixed assets and perform depreciation calculations monthly, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with quarterly VAT preparation and support the annual preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and the audit process.
Requirements:
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Working experience of an SME accountancy package, ideally Sage 50.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the financial controller and other team members.
- Car driver essential due to company location.
