Key Responsibilities:
- Specialist Nursing Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families of people with dementia, care team members, and individuals themselves.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with Dementia Care Managers to ensure a high standard of dementia care across our homes, driving best practices and quality improvement initiatives.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for care home team members and families living with dementia, enhancing their skills and competencies.
- Practice Development: Participate in the development, evaluation, and audit of this specialist area of practice, driving innovation and excellence.
- Bereavement Support: Offer comprehensive support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure families and residents receive the care they need.
Professional Development:
You will have access to relevant courses and professional development opportunities, guided by the Admiral Nurse Competency Framework. This framework will help you maintain and strengthen your clinical expertise as a specialist nurse in dementia care.
What Signature Offers:
- Competitive hourly rate of £25.00 per hour (£45,000 - £52,000 per annum based on 40 hours per week)
