About the Role
The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to support a EU H2020 funded project in the MMV group led by Prof Ebroul Izquierdo. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing deliverables for the project, representing QMUL in project meetings across the EU, conducting R&D in machine learning for plant species classification, and supporting the implementation of the project application development.
About You
To be successful in this role, applicants must have a PhD in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, with significant experience in participating in EU funded projects as a contributor and manager of research teams. Expertise in Machine Learning Technology and Computer Vision for object classification is essential. A strong track record as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in academic environments and leadership in academic research teams is also required.
