Irwin and Colton Limited is seeking a highly skilled Head of Health, Safety and Environment to join their team in the Manchester area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in the Transport Industry, reporting into the Director of Health, Safety and Environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental best practice and promoting a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across the organisation.

The Head of Health, Safety and Environment will be responsible for leading activities to improve health and safety and environmental performance across the organisation, visiting sites to conduct audits and inspections, and ensuring policies and procedures are reviewed and updated.

The ideal candidate will have proven health, safety and environmental experience within transport, heavy industrial environments, property management or facilities management industries, with a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent and relevant membership of IOSH. A NEBOSH Diploma Certificate or equivalent and IEMA Certificate or equivalent are desirable.
