Join Affinity Water as a vital member of our dedicated team in Planning & Streetworks as a Service Desk Operations Specialist on a fixed-term contract.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the activities of Customer Service Technicians across our central regions, ensuring minimal disruption to our valued customers. Your expertise will be essential in managing both scheduled and reactive tasks to maximize efficiency in terms of time, cost, and productivity for our field teams.

You will play a crucial role in not only meeting but exceeding team performance standards and objectives while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage schedules that align with internal and external priorities and targets. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and finalize schedules. Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory obligations, including Street Works and Leakage. Maintain a 'Customer-Centric' approach to drive continuous improvement and enhance the overall 'Customer Experience.' Critically assess incoming information and manage or escalate as necessary. Evaluate work activities based on internal and external priorities. Optimize field team deployment to achieve maximum efficiency. Engage in and promote internal feedback processes to foster continuous improvement. Advocate for a culture of Safety, Health, and Environmental responsibility within teams. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with Community Operations suppliers and contractors. Provide timely and accurate information to both internal and external customers. Maintain precise records to ensure clarity for auditing purposes.

Required Qualifications:

Proficient knowledge of company 'Job Management' systems, enabling informed decision-making to address customer disruptions and operational challenges. Strong understanding of the costs associated with community operational activities, with the ability to minimize unnecessary expenses. Capable of making swift decisions based on risk and cost considerations. Familiarity with highway reinstatement processes and materials. Knowledge of TMA Noticing/Permit requirements for public highway operations. Understanding of Maintenance & Repair activities, with the ability to provide guidance on complex repair solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with Works Management applications (Maximo, FLS, GIS).

This position involves a shift pattern on a rotational basis, including weekend work.
