Job Title: Estimating Manager

Location: Derby, Derbyshire

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Role Summary:

As a Managing Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our company by providing quotations for a wide range of painting enquiries. This dynamic position will involve both office-based tasks and site visits. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness
  2. Conducting site measurements and assessments to accurately quote for projects
  3. Assembling and submitting tender packages by the required deadline

Site visits will entail:

  1. Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
  2. Conducting site inspections and assessments to identify labour and material requirements
  3. Collaborating with our QS team to monitor existing workload and compile monthly reports

Strategic thinking, strong analytical and organizational skills, and robust IT skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will thrive in a position with significant responsibility and autonomy, working alongside a team of excellent surveyors in a company with a proven track record.
