About the Role
Vistry Group PLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide up-to-date cost information to Group Commercial through Benchmarking
- Attend development meetings, contract pre-start, and subcontract package review meetings
- Carry out pre-order meetings, including Health & Safety requirements, and finalizing tender sums
- Check and arrange subcontractor payments, obtaining necessary authorizations
- Produce BOQs for all elements of Vistry Works production
- Place subcontractor orders, including interviews and reference checks
- Issue variation orders and provide cost advice on major variations
- Agree final accounts with subcontractors, ensuring works are carried out within budget
- Promote good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Group Sustainability & Social Value agenda
