Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated and knowledgeable Sommelier to enhance our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting an extraordinary wine experience for our patrons, utilizing your expertise in wine pairing to elevate their dining journey. If you possess a profound understanding of wines, a discerning palate, and a commitment to exceptional service, we welcome you to lead our extensive wine program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist guests in selecting wines that enhance their meals and align with their preferences.
  • Provide detailed insights into various wine regions, varietals, and vintages.
  • Manage wine service and storage, ensuring proper handling and presentation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new releases, and emerging vineyards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Sommelier and team to curate a diverse and high-quality wine list.
  • Work alongside the kitchen team to create harmonious wine pairings for menu offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sommelier in a high-end restaurant or luxury venue.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wines, regions, and the wine-making process.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to craft a memorable and personalized wine experience for guests.
  • Good understanding of wines, regions, and wine production (WSET Level 2 or equivalent).
