About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Regional Investment Management Director. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business plan for our private client investment management teams in the allocated regions.
  • Agree individual annual targets and objectives with each investment management team and monitor performance against these targets.
  • Work closely with our Financial Planning team to ensure alignment and connectivity between Investment Managers and Financial Planners.
  • Oversee the maintenance of appropriate levels of training and competence for all relevant individuals within the investment management population.
  • Ensure the provision of appropriate flows of information and administrative services to the investment management teams.
  • Monitor investment performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Authorise variations from our standard fee charging schedules.
  • Liaise with our CEO, Sales and Marketing teams to develop and implement new business opportunities.
  • Attend the Executive Committee and contribute to achieving the committee's objectives.
Management Accountabilities
  • Ensure the regional teams operate in compliance with all relevant legislation, rules, and policies.
  • Manage the team within its agreed budget and regularly review resourcing requirements.
  • Ensure that employees receive appropriate training and coaching, and adequate supervision and monitoring.
  • Regularly review the performance of employees and ensure that appropriate performance management or disciplinary action is taken.
  • Responsible for the annual compensation review for the regional IM and support staff teams.
  • Ensure that all employees are treated fairly and not discriminated against.
  • Ensure the welfare of staff in accordance with our health and safety policies.
About You

We are looking for a professional with a strong track record of leadership and management experience, who is able to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and profitability. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.

You will have a deep understanding of the investment management industry and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to our clients. You will also have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to make informed decisions that drive business outcomes.
