Job Title: Fabrication HSE Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication HSE Advisor to join our team at Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess supplier HSE documentation to ensure compliance with our HSE management system and procedures.
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies and priorities to support our Fabrication Team.
  • Execute and follow up on supplier HSE activity plans to ensure effective HSE management.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and inspections to evaluate compliance with our HSE requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE data and reports to support our HSE initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our Fabrication Management team to ensure effective HSE reporting and follow-up.
  • Participate in supplier audits and other relevant activities to ensure compliance with our HSE requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate operational HSE initiatives and interfaces across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Completed IOSH course or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to certificate level or similar.
  • Preferable completed NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction to Diploma Level or similar.
  • Recommended five years of relevant experience within mature industrial manufacturing, ideally within fabrication.
  • Recommended ten years of experience within QHSE Management.
  • Experience within Incident investigations and Root Cause Identification.
  • Knowledge of local Health and Safety Regulations required.
  • Valid training required in: Work at Height (e.g. GWO) and First Aid.
  • Valid medical certificate (to fulfil Fabrication Supplier requirements).
  • Ability to write and speak English fluently is a must in addition to the local language (if not in the UK).
  • Personal skills: Good communicator, motivator with a human touch.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Valid UK working rights.
