We are collaborating with a local legal practice, seeking several Property Law Assistants to join our client's Property Law divisions across multiple offices in the Midlands. You will be assisting a proficient team of Legal Professionals in managing a substantial number of property transactions. This position is ideal for an individual eager to elevate their career in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A commitment to being an integral member of the Property and Commercial Finance team
  • Establishing connections with other experts involved in real estate transactions
  • Delivering estimates to clients and potential clients both verbally and in writing
  • Engaging with clients via phone and face-to-face
  • Drafting communications using our case management software
  • Organizing files for finalization
  • Creating completion documents
  • Updating clients on searches, mortgage agreements, and title documentation
  • Verifying MLR and securing proof of funds
  • Raising questions with the seller's legal representatives
  • Responding to inquiries from lender's legal teams and addressing lender stipulations
  • Managing filing systems, including daily organization and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files

What We Expect From You:

  • Exceptional personal work standards
  • Preferably at least 6 months of experience in a property law department
  • A motivation to advance your career in the property law sector
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients over the phone
