About the Role and the Organization
At Vale of Glamorgan Council, we are committed to enhancing community well-being through active engagement in sports and physical activities. Our initiatives are designed to serve individuals across all age groups, from children to seniors.
Position Overview
As a sports coach within our Healthy Living Team, you will be instrumental in fostering increased involvement in sports. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating sports sessions for youth in educational settings during breaks or after school hours.
- Coordinating sports initiatives for community outreach, either independently or in partnership with other organizations, during weekends or holiday periods.
- Leading interactive sessions aimed at families with young children.
- Engaging in community programs targeting specific demographics, such as women and senior citizens.
