About the Healthy Living Team
We are seeking a skilled Sports Coach to join our team, focusing on increasing physical activity levels and engaging residents in sport across various age groups.
About the Role
This casual position involves delivering sports activities and games as part of community projects, festivals, and holiday provision. You will work with our play team or independently, delivering sessions in schools, community centers, or other locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lunchtime and after-school sports activities to young people in local schools.
- Develop and lead sports activities and games for community projects during school holidays or evenings/weekends.
- Design and deliver family-based sessions for early years ages.
- Work with targeted groups, such as females and older people, on community-based projects.
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sports Coach who can work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different age groups and settings.
