Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Category Manager to spearhead the growth and profitability of our product portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving product success, developing compelling presentations, and leading market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative strategies to elevate Net Sales Value (NSV) and profitability across Global Export regions.
  • Optimise the product portfolio for sustained growth, leveraging market trends and customer needs.
  • Implement data-driven decisions for New Product Developments (NPDs) and portfolio optimisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Area Managers to refine the product mix for increased revenue, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
  • Analyse markets, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for market development, building strong relationships with key partners and suppliers.
  • Participate in distributor sales meetings to drive product awareness and sales, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products.
  • Generate actionable reports and collaborate with local teams to enhance business performance, ensuring timely and accurate data analysis.
  • Lead the Innovation Process, driving the use of digital asset management tools to streamline product development and launch.
  • Maintain master data and image databases for export product categories, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels.
  • Oversee website maintenance for effective brand representation, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the operation of brands and product segments, driving business growth and profitability.

About You

  • Years of global trade category management experience, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive mindset combined with cultural sensitivity and resilience, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
