Job Title: National Sales Director

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced National Sales Director to lead our field sales team and drive sales growth in the windows and doors industry.

About the Role:

  1. As a National Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of Area Sales Managers and a Customer Services Manager to achieve sales targets and grow the business.
  2. You will inherit a team achieving circa £22m per annum and will be tasked with growing sales to £24m in the first year.
  3. The role involves field sales management, promoting a wide portfolio of windows and doors to trade customers, and covering a national remit with overnight stays.
  4. You will typically spend two/three days on the road with the sales team and the rest of the time working from home or our client's Midlands-based premises.
  5. Responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and supporting the field sales team, joint visits with customers, and bringing on larger customers through your network of contacts.

Requirements:

  1. Proven field sales management experience from the windows and doors industry.
  2. Open to regional sales management experience looking for the next step into a national role.
  3. Able to bring leads and a network of contacts within window and door retail installers, commercial installers, and trade counter/merchants.
  4. Proven track record in managing, mentoring, and coaching a field sales team.
  5. B2B fenestration sector experience.
  6. Hardworking, trustworthy, and reliable.
