About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven National Sales Manager to join our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and strategy for the UK division, with a focus on building strong relationships with high-profile customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve divisional sales targets of £60M
  • Network and develop new business opportunities with current and potential customers
  • Manage and motivate a team of Area Sales Managers to achieve sales objectives
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to drive business growth and strategy
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to inform business decisions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role as an Area Sales Manager
  • Proven track record of sales growth and strategy development
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG and manufacturing industries
  • Ability to sell directly to business owners, Managing Directors, and CEOs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel regularly to visit customers around the UK (approx. 8 nights per month)
