About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious National Sales Manager to join our client, a leading FMCG manufacturer with a global presence. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve divisional sales targets of £60M.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including business owners, Managing Directors, and CEOs.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, customer service, and finance, to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the UK Sales Director.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.

About the Company

Our client is a world-leading manufacturer of foam products, with over 60 locations worldwide and a turnover of £100m. They offer a highly competitive financial package, including an exceptional car allowance, and a route to success with opportunities for progression and further development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of sales growth and leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG and manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly, with a minimum of 8 nights per month.
  • Located in the East or North Midlands, Cheshire, Manchester, or Derbyshire.
