The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals to our students, and managing a team of Kitchen Assistants.

Main Responsibilities

As the Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing menus that meet the nutritional needs of our students
  • Managing food safety and health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff
  • Overseeing the ordering and inventory of food and supplies
  • Leading a team of Kitchen Assistants to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
  • Collaborating with our school administration to ensure seamless integration with our school's policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a food service management role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and health and safety protocols
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and service

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are 7:00am till 2:30pm.

Salary

The salary for this role is £28,000 per annum.
